NanoMEGAS application meeting at our Brussels location with the friendly participation of our partners from 4MAT ULB and SIMaP INP Grenoble!

Many surprises and innovations  are  expected  in the coming months to make 4D STEM techniques more accessible, powerful and automated, especially with a coupling offer for the new fast hybrid pixel detectors that allow access to more sensitive materials.

Today we are proud not only of the more than 300 installations in various TEMs all over the world but also of the more than 1000 scientific publications in precession diffraction related fields coming from various scientific laboratories.

Join us for an engaging luncheon seminar that will begin with an introduction to Precession Enhanced Applications in TEM for nanomaterial Studies. Leading scientists will showcase recent advancements using the PED technique, offering a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge applications such as Orientation and Phase Mapping (ASTAR) and Strain Mapping (TopSPIN).

To secure your spot at this exciting event, please register by sending a confirmation email to tgalanis@nanomegas.com. Due to limited seating, we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.

Participation is free of charge, and a light lunch will be provided!

Don’t miss this chance to deepen your knowledge of the latest developments in nanomaterial research.

EMSIS & NanoMEGAS are exhibiting during MC2025!

We will be glad to welcome you to booth No 27 in exhibition area.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Precession 30 Years Anniversary

We are delighted to invite you to the NanoMEGAS User’s Meeting, celebrating the 30th anniversary of beam precession development in electron diffraction for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The event is jointly organised by Quantum Design and NanoMEGAS and will be hosted at Cambridge University, an institute with significant historical contributions to beam precession technology.

The meeting aims to showcase the latest developments and upgrades in NanoMEGAS applications, including faster data collection, utilisation of 4D-SPED for advanced applications, integration with various detectors, synergy with in-situ studies, etc.

The invitation is exclusively for experienced NanoMEGAS system users.

In the second part of the meeting, selected scientific works will be presented, highlighting recent advancements and results. We are excited to invite you to present your latest scientific results, using NanoMEGAS applications.

Early registration is highly recommended as the schedule and presentation slots will be limited. Your timely response will help us organise the agenda effectively and ensure your participation in this insightful event.

Further details regarding the agenda will be provided to you soon.

Your contribution will add significant value to the discussions and enrich the collective knowledge sharing during this milestone celebration.

ESTEEM3 – Enabling Science and Technology through European Electron Microscopy – is an EU funded project for electron microscopy, which aims at providing access to the leading European state-of-the-art electron microscopy research infrastructure. Facilitating and extending transnational access services of the most powerful atomic scale characterization techniques in advanced electron microscopy research to a wide range of academic and industrial research communities for the analysis and engineering of novel materials in physical, chemical and biological sciences.

ESTEEM3’s objective is to deliver access to users coming from a wider range of disciplines. Transnational Access (TA) to ESTEEM3 centers is obtained through a transparent, simple peer review process based on merit and scientific priorities. Optimum service to users is supported by Networking Activities (NA) and Joint Research Activities (JRA), which address key issues such as specimen preparation, data interpretation, treatment and automation through theory and simulation, and standardization of protocols and methodologies.
